Farm

Ez and I went to the farm close by. This was his first time and he was excited and kept pointing
at animals. Well, it seems that he was not the only one who was excited... a cow put his neck out of the fence and licked Ez's stroller and his foot!

Cow licking the stroller... now it's worth $300. jk

cute cow, good boy. Could be a girl.

This is my favorite picture. Every time this cow put its neck through, he opened his eyes so wide and stuck out his tongue. So funny!

I couldn't post for a while because I couldn't log into the site! My pc seems to be still infected...

I'm glad I can at least post something now. So, this is my excuse for rather old post.

My little man

Time has gone by so fast... It seems like we just barely had this little boy.
My water broke in the middle of the night and went to the hospital.
3hours later at 3am, he was born.

Today he turned 6month old.

On his first day home. Here he is 3 days old.
He weighed 5lbs. 3oz at birth. 4wks early.

Look how he is grown! Now he is 6 months old!
He weighs about 14lbs? Not so sure. Still small but surely growing.

He is doing "Airplane", the move before they start crawling. Scary...

"Here mommy, I can sit up!"

Well... not quite yet!

I still remember it well when I found out that I was pregnant. I was so confused and couldn't really think. Well, I stayed that way even when I was 8month pregnant.
Ever since he was born, we have more fun. We like to make him smile, laugh and sometimes even cry... hehe. Now he started solids, we enjoy seeing how he reacts to different food.

I never thought this baby will bring so much joy in us as a family.
I never knew how much his siblings will love and care for him.
I never knew how much I will be able to love him- so foolish.

Now that he is getting older, I know it will be more stressful chasing after him and making sure he is not eating whatever he is not supposed to. Yes, I will still wonder if he is a trial or a blessing but I know for sure now, he was and is supposed to be in this family - with us.

He is a little gift from up above. Baby, we treasure you.

And, last but definately not the least, thank you my friends for supporting me through.
You are so appreciated.

My sweet baby

I wanted to take picture of my new born before he gets too old and loses the "mold to you" stage.

I had seen a famous photographer's ad of a baby with bear. It was just so sweet, capturing the definate new born look(wrinkled grandpa kind) melting to a teddy bear.

I couldn't remember how it was positioned well, so this is what I took of him.

Bear, I got your shoulder down!! Ten, nine, eight...

Ultrasound Visit!

I love how she put "HI, MOM!!" on the top left!

Finally this day was here. I had some sleepless nights because I was anxious.
I will find out a lot about this baby. A LOT. Development, gender, etc..

I had to drink 2 cups of water an hour before I went in. (Wasn't it more like a gallon of water before?? Anyway, 2 cups is much better.)
30min. later, I was called. I was ready to go to the bathroom!!!

She started measuring everything. I saw intestine, spine, and so on. She had a hard time taking shots of the mouth and nose since the baby covered the face with arms and legs. Okay, I saw a line and she called it "lip". Well? I guess if you say so;-)

This is the great one that shows the foot! We can see toes even. So sweet.

Heel on the right and the toes on the lefts.

At this time, the baby is about 6 inches. How big is this foot then?

And of course, we had to find out the gender. I guess it's a new thing not to find out these days but why not find out and prepare ourselves mentally when we can? I simply cannot wait that long and I am glad that my husband and I agree on this! Otherwise, it will be so difficult to keep a secret...

This is the first picture that tells...

He will probably not like this when he finds out that I posted this... Sorry! Your mom is a meanie! That's my middle name anyway:)
With this one, I was 90% sure that it would be a boy, just because of the way I listed on the previous post so no surprise-felt like I landed on the ground now.

Well, I feel very blessed. When we got married 16 years ago and for 3 years after that, I didn't even know if I could have a baby. Those days when I was going through the infertility treatment, I remember lying down, staring at the ceiling for hours, not knowing if we will ever be able to add a new one in the family.

I believe everyone who crosses our path had some kind of interactions before we were born. And in pre-existence, we must have been very close with those especially in the family who we interact with in daily basis, no matter how they are added.

I will see you again in person soon, my promised friend.

Boy...or a Girl?

Here's some reasons why I think this baby is a BOY.

1. I don't feel as sick as I did with my girl. I haven't vomitted much. (Sorry!)

2. When Mr. S received a baby blessing, my husband was inspired to say that he would be a good example for his brother and sister who may come after him. He already got a sister so next is...

3. I had a dream before I found out I was pregnant- no, it is not one of those spiritual one. In my dream, I was talking to a boy about 2yrs of age. I knew he was my son but somehow couldn't think of his name. I felt so aweful but just couldn't remember it! He had blond hair and blue eyes... chance of having mine like him is very slim so most likely it was just a dream. Anyway.

And... here's a reason for a GIRL.

1. My leg hair keeps growing so fast! I need to keep shaving it. I'm glad it's winter now.

That's it. Although it would be nice to have a girl since we have 2 boys and a girl, the odds are that we will be welcoming another boy. Yes, I think so.

Well, this pregnancy is somewhat different from last three. The biggest difference is that...

CHOCOLATE MAKES ME SICK!!!!!

Well, I eat them anyway, little by little. One day 5 M&M made me nauseous but not 2 so I just need to be careful with the amount, I guess. Thus, I eat them anyway, very carefully.

And also... I am so not good with physical contact. I felt aweful but needed to tell the kids "Please don't touch me!!" ummm... okay, I admit, sometimes "Don't touch me!!!"
When I wanted a hug mentally, I knew my husband's hug would make me nauseous so I just needed to wrap myself in a blanket. At church, I tried to sit away from the family because rubbing of the shoulders etc. would make me feel sick. I couldn't even hold my husband's hand for a while. This is difficult when two of my 3 kids are on the touchy side. Many times bed time singing and caressing their forehead was a torture... well, I didn't take the chance anyway.

I am glad to say that I am coming out of the phase. I feel like my clock is ticking again and I am not in hybernation anymore. It's like "Spring is here!" Well, almost.....

Going back to the subject, my husband thinks it would be a girl. Just because. Hehe
We will see what happen when we go in for ultrasound in January.

The end.

Visit with the doctor

I was excited for this day. I would finally get to see the doctor, hopefully ultrasound, and find out what the choices are for my situation. All I know is that it is better for me to have a c-section but with the due date so unsure, it will be difficult to know the timing. All my children are born on 37 weeks.

Well, after weighing and answering a few questions and getting the blood pressure taken, the assistant nurse left, telling me I needed to change into the gown with nothing underneath... Oh..... nothing. My husband asked me if I wanted him to go out even... as if! After a while, the nurse came in. Oh, she was the lady who I saw at church when I went to do some service work!!! It was so nice to see her. Anyway, she said she would look for the heartbeat and with doppler, she listened around and ...found it. There was a strong heartbeat. Tears came in my eyes. Definately, a human was growing in me. It was certainly the moment that I would never forget. I am responsible for not only my body but my little one growing in me as well. What I do, eat, listen, and so on is going to affect this baby. It is just not me anymore.

Anyway, she told me that they don't schedule the c-section until you are 39 weeks pregnant. Great. I knew I will not last that long for sure. Then she said with my case, it might be better to do the test to see the lung is fully developed as soon as I hit 37 weeks. If it is, I will have the operation on the day or the day after. Sounds good to me... although thinking about surgery makes me very nervous. They are going to open me. Scary.

Hearing me talk about my concerns, she felt my uterus and did ultrasound for me. There it was, my little one. It was only about 3.5cm (1 1/2inches). So she pushed back my due date to beginning of June and thus I am 10weeks pregnant instead of 12 now. I just hope everything goes smoothly and okay- Yes, this is a blessing.

head on the right with two hands in the middle then body and feet.

It will be a BOY;-)
