She loves those stickers on fruits. She says she is a "cutie"(kind of orange)! My 6yrs old daughter has a hard time pronouncing her"R". Maybe because she is half Japanese and lived in Japan while her language skill was developing, I don't know. Anyway, we try to practice with her so she doesn't have to go to the speech therapist.
Here's one of the practice we had with her in the car while driving to the movie theater.
My husband-"Miss S, say 'R'"
Miss S- "Ah"
MH- Hmmmm. Say Red
S- Wed
MH-What about "I want to marry a rich man"?
S-I want to marry a witch man
After watching Harry Potter, it might not be a bad choice actually.
MH- Then say Hamburger
S- Hambooger
MH-(while screaming) I WANT TO EAT HAMBURGER!!!
S-(screaming) I WANT TO EAT HAMBOOGER!!!!!
Then my husband started to sing a song that goes "There's a booger in my burger..."
followed by her song "there's a booger in my booger..."
I guess it's time to get the microscope so we can find a booger in her booger! lol!
She is now inspector Clouseau Junior! (If you have watched Pink Panther, you know what I mean!)
